What a beauty. We are surrounded but utter beauty in one of the most detailed ways possible.
This place has so much history that three days is way too little to stay here unfortunately. We arrived at the station and took a moment to take our breath. We drank we a cup of coffee in a local coffee house at the station and everything already felt different from Tokyo. Thinking a lot would look the same, was a very wrong idea and of course it was.
Have you ever been in one country, where the north is the same with the south? I think not. Same goes for Kyoto. We were very lucky to not find too many tourist. Even in Tokyo seeing a foreigner was quite rare. And the foreigners we found were a bit goofy, but maybe the thought the same of us haha.
